What it is
AlphaCap Max is a herbal dietary supplement for adult men, supplied as one gelatin capsule sealed inside a single red foil packet. The front of the pouch is printed 1 CAPSULE and Male Enhancement Formula, carries a Made in USA mark, and is branded "Powered by AlphaStrip". The sealed pouch, with its hang hole at the top, is the whole of the item.
Every fact on this page was taken off the packet itself — the Supplement Facts panel, the ingredient line and the caution text printed across the back. Where the packet says nothing, this page says nothing.
What's inside
The back of the pouch prints one continuous ingredient line rather than a broken-out panel with weights beside each entry, so no milligram figure appears for any component of this formula. Here is what the named ingredients actually are.
Two amino acids lead the list. Citrulline takes its name from the watermelon, Citrullus vulgaris, the fruit it was originally isolated from; it occurs in both the flesh and the pale rind. L-arginine is a closely related amino acid that turns up throughout an ordinary diet — nuts, seeds, poultry, fish and dairy all supply it, and the body synthesises more of its own. Neither compound is unusual in itself. What a supplement does is concentrate them.
Four botanicals follow. Horny goat weed is the English common name for Epimedium, a low leafy perennial that gardeners in temperate countries plant as shade groundcover and that Chinese herbal practice has used for centuries. Yohimbe is bark stripped from a tall West African evergreen, Pausinystalia johimbe, and it is the one entry on this list that comes with well-documented safety considerations attached. The US National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health lays those out on its yohimbe background page; if you take any medication, or have a blood pressure or heart concern, that page is worth reading before you order rather than afterwards. Pomegranate is the familiar seeded fruit, included here as an extract. Tongkat ali extract is drawn from the root of Eurycoma longifolia, a slender shrub of Southeast Asian forests that also trades under the name longjack.
The line closes with a proprietary plant extract blend. Which plants go into it, and how much of it the capsule holds, are not disclosed anywhere on the packaging, and guessing on a manufacturer's behalf is not something we will do. For neutral background on how plant-based supplements are made and regulated in the United States, the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements keeps a consumer fact sheet on botanical dietary supplements. Both government pages cited here are reference material about plants and regulation; neither has any bearing on this particular product.
The last three entries are manufacturing materials. Colloidal silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate are routine flow and anti-caking agents, there to stop powder clinging to machinery during encapsulation. The shell itself is gelatin — animal-derived, which rules the capsule out for vegetarians and vegans. No vegetarian claim is made on the packet either.

† The panel is printed "Daily values not established". Sodium and potassium appear as a percentage with no weight beside them, so no weight is invented here. No milligram amount is given for any herb or amino acid anywhere on this packaging.
Ingredients, in the order printed: colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, capsule shell (gelatin), citrulline, horny goat weed, yohimbe, pomegranate, L-arginine, tongkat ali extract, proprietary plant extract blend.
How to use it
The packet carries exactly one instruction, quoted here in full: "Suggested Use: Take 1 Capsule." The front adds a single ceiling — do not exceed 1 capsule in 24 hrs. Those two lines are the complete directions on this packaging.
No timing appears anywhere on the pouch. Nothing specifies a number of minutes or hours ahead of anything, and no spacing between servings is given beyond that 24-hour ceiling. We have left the gap where the manufacturer left it, because filling it in would mean inventing a dose. Check the packet you actually receive before taking it. Broader advice on using supplements sensibly is available direct from the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements in dietary supplements: what you need to know.
On storage the packet asks only that it be kept away from heat, light and humidity. Sealed foil handles all three unaided, so there is nothing to decant into a jar and nothing to keep an eye on.
Who it's for
One capsule is one serving, which makes this a try-it-once format aimed at adult men. It suits somebody who wants to see what a formula is like before committing to a bottle of thirty, or who buys this sort of thing occasionally and would rather not have a half-used container sitting in a bathroom cabinet for two years. Nothing needs starting and nothing gets left over.
Anyone under 18 should not take it. Neither should it stand in for a proper conversation with a doctor about something that is worrying you. Comparing formats or after a larger pack? The wider range sits under supplements for men and male enhancement pills.
Good to know
- 18 and over. The packet restricts use to adults, and so do we.
- Check with a health professional first if you use prescription medication or have an ongoing medical condition. The caution printed on the packet reads: do not exceed suggested use; individuals taking medications should consult with a health practitioner prior to use; if you experience any adverse symptoms after use, discontinue and consult your doctor.
- This formula contains yohimbe. If the ingredient is unfamiliar, follow the NCCIH link above and read it first — that is the single most useful thing on this page.
- Gelatin shell. Animal-derived, so not suitable for a vegetarian or vegan diet.
- Store out of children's reach.
- Prop 65. Nothing of the sort is printed on this pouch, so nothing is repeated here.
- Delivery. Nothing on the outer packaging describes what is inside it, and the Gear Isle name appears nowhere on it. Dispatch is next business day at the latest, quicker services can be picked at checkout, and this item falls under the returns and refunds policy.
Frequently asked questions
Is this one capsule or a multi-pack?
One capsule. AlphaCap Max arrives as a single gelatin capsule sealed in one red foil pouch, and that sealed pouch is what ships.
How much of each ingredient does the capsule contain?
The packaging does not disclose it. Ingredients are listed in order on the back, but no milligram figure is printed against any herb or amino acid, and no combined weight is given for the blend. From this packet alone nobody can tell you how much yohimbe or citrulline is inside — and saying so is more honest than publishing a number that cannot be supported.
When am I supposed to take it?
The packet does not say. Its only direction is "take 1 capsule", together with a limit of one capsule in any 24 hours. There is no timing guidance printed on the packaging whatsoever, which is worth knowing before ordering if timing matters to you.
Is it suitable for vegetarians?
No. Gelatin is named on the packet as the capsule shell material, and gelatin is animal-derived. The packaging asserts nothing about vegetarian, vegan or gluten-free status.
Who makes it and where?
A Made in USA mark is printed on both faces of the packet, and a distributor is named in small type on the back panel. Gear Isle sells this product; it does not manufacture it.
Is a supplement the same thing as medication?
No, and the distinction is a legal one. United States law files dietary supplements under food, not medicine, so they reach the shelf without the pre-market review that a drug goes through. That is precisely why the disclaimer at the foot of this page exists, and why a supplement is no replacement for actual medical care.
