Bathmate Hydroxtreme5 Ultimate Penis Hydropump Water Based

What it is

The Bathmate HydroXtreme5 is a manual, water-filled hydro pump kit: a clear moulded cylinder with a grey bellows base, a red hose running from the fitting at its crown to a separate grey hand bulb, and a set of storage and care accessories packed alongside it. The carton carries the bathmate wordmark with the strapline "Just Add Water" and the HydroXtreme name in white and red lettering. It is part of our penis pumps range.

The design has no motor, no battery and no charging port. It works with water inside the cylinder and your hand on the bulb, so there is nothing to charge, no motor noise, and every moving part can be seen and checked before use.

How the pump is built

From top to bottom, the HydroXtreme5 has five distinct sections, and each one is visible in the product photographs.

• The crown. A polished metal-look cap sits at the very top, set into a ribbed grey collar. The red hose attaches here.
• The cylinder. A transparent moulded tube that narrows slightly toward the top. A printed decal runs down the front with a framed graduated scale, the bathmate name and a line of small print.
• The frosted band. Where the cylinder meets the base, a translucent white collar separates the clear tube from the grey section below.
• The bellows. A grey concertina gaiter forms the lower part of the unit and ends in a flat, wider rim that seats against the body.
• The hand bulb. A grey oval squeeze bulb with a flattened grip panel and a moulded bathmate mark near its neck, joined to the hose by a short clear connector.

The hose and bulb are the most distinctive part of the design. Because the bulb is a separate object on a length of tubing rather than part of the cylinder, it is operated by hand away from the tube itself. In the photographs the hose loops over the crown and spirals down around the cylinder before reaching the bulb.

What comes in the kit

The kit photograph lays out every piece packed with the pump. Alongside the pump, its hose and hand bulb, and the carton, it shows:

• A black hard-shell storage case with a white zip running around the lid and a carry loop at one end.
• A light grey towel printed with the bathmate name in blue.
• A small bottle with a dark label printed "clean".
• A silver three-dial combination padlock.
• Black strapping printed with the bathmate name and, along one length, a numbered graduated scale.
• A long black rod with a grey ridged block, which carries no printing in the photograph.

We describe that last pair by appearance only, because nothing printed on it says what it is called. The instruction material packed in the carton is the place to confirm the purpose of each piece before first use.

Product specifications

How to use it

Use the HydroXtreme5 with water, following the printed instructions supplied in the carton. The strapline on the carton, "Just Add Water", sums up the design: the cylinder is used filled with water rather than empty, and the hand bulb on the red hose is the manual control.

Session times, frequencies and pressure figures are not given on this page. None of them is printed on any surface shown in the product photographs, and for a device used on the body the manufacturer's own instructions are the right source for those numbers. Read them in full before first use.

A few general points apply to any water-filled cylinder of this kind:

• Check that the hose and the bulb connector are seated firmly before filling.
• Start gently with the bulb, and stop at once if anything feels uncomfortable.
• Empty the cylinder fully after each use, rinse it, and let every part dry before it goes back in the case.

Cleaning and storage

Rinse the cylinder, hose and bulb after every session and let them air-dry fully before packing them away; the carton instructions explain how the bottle labelled "clean" is meant to be used. Water left standing in the hose or bulb is the main thing to avoid, so hold the bulb neck-down for a moment and squeeze out any remaining drops.

The hard-shell case is the natural home for the whole set between uses. It keeps the clear cylinder from being scratched, holds the towel and small parts together, and the padlock gives you a way to keep the case closed if you share a bathroom or a house.

Who it's for

The HydroXtreme5 is for adult men who prefer a water-based pump to an air cylinder and who like the idea of a hand bulb on a hose rather than working the cylinder directly. It suits someone comfortable with a routine of filling, emptying and drying the unit, and who values a complete kit with its own lockable case over a bare cylinder. To compare it with other options, browse our men's adult products section.

It is less suited to anyone who wants a dry, grab-and-go device, because a water-filled unit always needs a few minutes of preparation before and after use.

Good to know

• For adults 18 and over only.
• Read the printed instructions in the carton in full before first use, and follow them over any general advice on this page.
• Stop immediately if you feel pain or discomfort.
• Inspect the hose, bulb and gaiter for splits before each use, and do not use a damaged part.
• Keep the device and the bottle labelled "clean" out of reach of children.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Bathmate HydroXtreme5 need batteries or charging?

No, the HydroXtreme5 is fully manual and has no motor, battery or charging port. It is operated by hand using the grey bulb on the red hose.

What is the hand bulb for?

The grey hand bulb is the pump's manual control. It is joined by the red hose to the fitting at the top of the cylinder, so it is squeezed by hand away from the tube, and the printed instructions in the carton explain how to use it.

What accessories come with the HydroXtreme5?

The kit photograph shows a black hard zip case, a bathmate towel, a small bottle labelled "clean", a combination padlock, printed black strapping and a long rod with a ridged grey block, all packed with the pump, hose and bulb. The carton instructions describe what each piece is for.

Which size of cylinder is right for me?

Ask us before ordering if you are unsure, because no fit range is printed on any surface shown in the product photographs. Our catalogue carries the HydroXtreme line in more than one model, and our customer team can help you compare them.

How is my order packaged?

Your order ships in plain outer packaging with no product imagery and nothing on the outside that describes the contents. It will not show the Gear Isle name.
