What this is

Nature's Craft G-Curve for Women is a herbal dietary supplement sold in a black 60-capsule bottle. The front of the bottle reads "G-Curve for Women — Advanced Formula for Women", carries the Nature's Craft leaf mark, and states 60 capsules. The label sets a serving at 2 capsules, which works out to 30 servings from a full bottle.

Each serving declares two items: 1000 mg of Horny Goat Weed extract, stated on the panel to supply 10 mg of icariins, plus a 590 mg house blend the brand calls the G Enhancer Proprietary Blend. Everything below is transcribed from the bottle's own printing and from the brand's Supplement Facts panel — no figure here has been rounded, converted or filled in from elsewhere.

What's inside

The formula is built around one named botanical at a stated weight, with eight further ingredients grouped into a single proprietary blend. Because the blend is declared as one 590 mg total, the label does not publish a per-ingredient breakdown inside it, and neither do we.

Horny Goat Weed extract (Epimedium sagittatum, aerial plant) — 1000 mg. Epimedium is a low, shade-loving flowering plant long used in traditional Chinese herbal preparations, where the dried aerial parts are the portion collected. The panel names icariin as the marker compound and states that the extract supplies 10 mg of icariins, which is the kind of standardisation figure that lets you compare one extract against another. The NCCIH's Herbs at a Glance index is a reasonable neutral starting point for background reading on botanicals of this type.

Maca root powder. Maca is Lepidium meyenii, a hardy root vegetable in the mustard family that is farmed on the high plateaus of the Peruvian Andes at altitudes where little else grows. It is eaten as a food crop there and dried and milled for supplement use.

Tongkat Ali root powder (Eurycoma longifolia). A slender understorey shrub native to Malaysia, Indonesia and Vietnam. The root is the part traditionally harvested, and it is bitter enough that it is usually taken as a powder or a decoction rather than eaten.

Saw palmetto berry powder. Saw palmetto is Serenoa repens, a fan palm that grows in dense thickets across the coastal plain of the southeastern United States. Its dark berries were a food source long before they were a supplement ingredient; the NCCIH keeps a plain-language saw palmetto fact sheet covering what is and is not known about it.

Tribulus terrestris 40% extract (aerial parts). A low, sprawling annual found across warm regions worldwide, sometimes called puncture vine after its spiked seed cases. The "40%" describes the concentration of the extract, and the panel specifies that the aerial parts rather than the fruit or root are the source material.

Polypodium vulgare powder (root and rhizome). Common polypody, a small evergreen fern that grows on shaded rock and old walls across Europe. Its sweet-tasting rhizome is the traditional article of commerce — an unusual inclusion in a formula of this kind, and worth knowing about if you are comparing labels.

Muira Puama root powder. A small flowering tree of the Brazilian Amazon basin. The root and bark are the parts dried for use in traditional Amazonian preparations.

L-Arginine (as L-Arginine HCl). The one non-botanical in the blend. L-arginine is an amino acid the body makes for itself and also takes in from everyday foods — nuts, seeds, poultry, dairy and pulses are all ordinary sources. The hydrochloride form is used here because it is stable and mixes evenly into a dry blend.

Panax ginseng root powder. Asian ginseng, a slow-growing perennial of Korea, northeastern China and eastern Russia whose forked root takes several years in the ground before harvest. The NCCIH publishes an Asian ginseng overview for general background.

For a wider view of how plant-based supplement ingredients are regulated, labelled and studied in general, the NIH Office of Dietary Supplements maintains a consumer fact sheet on botanical dietary supplements. None of those sources refer to this product; they are background on the ingredients themselves.

† Daily Value not established.

Other ingredients: Rice Flour, Gelatin (bovine) and Vegetable Magnesium Stearate.

The capsule shell is bovine gelatin, so this is not a vegetarian or vegan product. The panel gives no per-ingredient amounts inside the 590 mg blend, and we have not estimated any.

How to use it

The label's suggested use is 2 capsules daily, preferably with food, taken 1 to 2 hours before physical activity, or as directed by a healthcare professional. That is the whole of the printed direction — the bottle sets no cycle length, no loading period and no maximum run of days.

Storage instructions are printed alongside: keep in a cool, dry place, keep out of the reach of children, and do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing. The lot code and best-by date are stamped on the base of the bottle rather than on the wraparound label.

Who it's for

This is a women's herbal capsule for adults 18 and over, and the label states it directly: "Advanced Formula for Women". A 60-capsule bottle at 2 capsules a day is a one-month supply at the label's own serving rate, which makes it a single-bottle trial rather than a bulk purchase.

It suits someone who wants a multi-botanical formula in one capsule rather than buying maca, ginseng and saw palmetto separately, and who is comfortable with a proprietary blend where the total is declared but the split is not. If you specifically want every ingredient weight itemised, this panel will not give you that, and it is fair to know before you buy.

It is not for everyone. The label states plainly that the product is not intended for pregnant or nursing mothers, for children under the age of 18, or for individuals with a known medical condition.

Good to know

  • Allergens. The label states the product is manufactured and packaged in a facility that may also process milk, soy, wheat, egg, peanuts, tree nuts, fish and crustacean shellfish.
  • Not vegetarian. The capsule is bovine gelatin.
  • Medication check. The bottle instructs anyone taking medication, or with questions about whether the product is advisable for them, to consult a physician before use.
  • Do not exceed the recommended dose. That instruction is printed on the bottle in those words.
  • Seal. Do not use if the safety seal is damaged or missing.
  • Proposition 65. No Proposition 65 warning is printed anywhere on this packaging, so none is reproduced here.

Frequently asked questions

How many capsules are in the bottle, and how many days does a bottle cover?

The Nature's Craft G-Curve for Women bottle holds 60 capsules. The label sets a serving at 2 capsules and lists 30 servings, so at the suggested use of one serving a day a full bottle covers 30 days.

When does the label say to take it?

The printed suggested use is 2 capsules daily, preferably with food, 1 to 2 hours before physical activity, or as directed by a healthcare professional. No other timing is printed on the bottle.

Are the individual amounts in the G Enhancer blend disclosed?

No. The panel declares the G Enhancer Proprietary Blend as a single 590 mg total and lists its eight ingredients in order, without a milligram figure for each one. Only the Horny Goat Weed extract, at 1000 mg with 10 mg of icariins, is declared separately.

Is this suitable for vegetarians?

No. The Other Ingredients line names Gelatin (bovine) as part of the capsule, along with Rice Flour and Vegetable Magnesium Stearate.

What should I do if I take prescription medication?

Speak to a licensed healthcare professional before starting it. The bottle's own caution panel says to consult your physician prior to use if you are taking medication or have questions about the advisability of taking this product.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Dietary supplement for adults 18 and over. Consult a licensed healthcare professional before use, especially if you have a medical condition, heart concerns, or take prescription medication (including nitrates). Keep out of reach of children.
