How it Works

When trying to conceive, it is vital to provide an environment where sperm has a chance of survival. Environmental conditions are affected by pH levels, osmolality (the concentration of substances like sodium and potassium) and the consistency of egg white cervical mucus. While traditional lubricants may affect these conditions and inhibit sperm motility, studies have shown that Astroglide TTC is compatible with sperm, oocytes and embryos and allows sperm to move freely.

TTC is specially formulated with adjusted pH levels, compatible osmolality and a consistency similar to that of your own cervical mucus, making it less likely to hinder sperm motility than traditional lubricants. TTC also contains galactose, which is found naturally in semen, as well as fructose, the main source of energy for sperm. 

Like all Astroglide products, TTC also temporarily relieves vaginal dryness during sexual activity.

Indication For Use:

Astroglide TTC is a personal lubricant for penile and/ or veginal application, intented to moisture and lubricate, to enhance the ease and comfort of sexual activity and supplement the body's natural lubrication. Astroglide TTC is compatible with sperm, oocytes, and embryos and can be used by couples trying to conceive. Astroglide TTC is compatible with natural rubber latex, synthetic polyisoprene and polyurethane condoms.

Directions:

TTc personal lubricant should be applied right before intercourse; advanced pre-application is not necessary to ensure adequate distribution. To apply, first remove applicator from wrapper and discard, Gently insert the nazzle-end into vagina and squeeze the bulb end of the applicator 2-3 times to deposit TTC into the vaginal cavity. Remove applicator while still squeezing bulb end and discard it.

Use/Insert applicator only once. If more lubrication is desired, use a new applicator or apply by hand. The application are single-use/ insertion only. When using condoms, do not apply directly from the applicator. Apply small amount by hand to inner and outer surfaces.

This product is not a spermicide or contraceptive. Do not use if outer wrap or tab on application is broken or missing.

Caution:

Store at room temprature. Keep out of reach of children. If irritation or discomfort occurs, doscontinue use immediately and consult a physician. This lubricant is non-sterile and not designed for home insemination procedures.

How do I use the applicators?

To use Astroglide TTC, remove the applicator from its wrapper and hold with its nozzle pointed upright. Twist off the tab and discard. Gently insert the nozzle-end into vagina and squeeze the bulb end of the applicator 2-3 times to deposit TTC directly into the vaginal cavity. Remove the applicator while still squeezing the bulb end and discard it. Use/insert the applicators only once. If more lubrication is desired, use a new applicator or apply by hand. When using condoms, do not apply directly from the applicator - apply a small amount by hand to inner and outer surfaces of the condom.\

When should I use TTC?

TTC may be used whenever you need a personal lubricant, whether you are actively trying to conceive or just want to use a lubricant that is compatible with sperm, oocytes and embryos.

If you are actively trying to conceive, it’s best to use TTC right before intercourse when your body is most fertile. For a woman with an average 28-day menstrual cycle, this is within 5 days before and up to ovulation, which occurs around 12 days after your period starts.
